MEDIENWERFT LAUNCHES FASHION VIRAL FOR GÖRTZ

All is dark. We hear footsteps. A mysterious-looking woman walks past. She carries in front of her a mysteriously glowing cube … So begins the Fashion Short {THE BOX}, the official teaser for the latest alliance between Berlin fashion label Perret Schaad and Hamburg-based shoe retailer Ludwig Görtz GmbH. The film announces the premiere of the exclusive ‘Görtz designed by Perret Schaad’ shoe collection, which is to be presented at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin on 7 July. Medienwerft was the agency partner responsible for the overall project.

“We were determined to break new ground in marketing within the fashion world on behalf of Görtz,” comments Oliver Helms, Medienwerft’s managing director, on the current film’s launch. Working in conjunction with today’s leading fashion film director Cristian Straub and producers Riese Farbaute, the film is seeded exclusively through fashion blogs and social media channels. “Tips, sharing and content-related comments and likes are more powerful in the fashion world than simply pumping out commercials,” adds Oliver Helms, explaining the way they went about the whole production. “{THE BOX} is already attracting more attention on the scene than we could ever have bought with money.”
