GRANDIOSE: MEDIENWERFT LAUNCHES THE ADLER PLUS-SIZE SHOP

Adler Modemärkte AG is expanding its e-commerce range with the Adler plus-size store, tailored to meet the needs of plus-size customers. The sub-store created by Medienwerft impresses with more service, more content and an attractive shopping environment.

"There are only a few online stores that specifically target the requirements of customers who require larger off-the-peg sizes," says Frank Meier, Director of Medienwerft. "When we were asked at the end of last year to design the Adler plus-size shop , it quickly became clear to us that it was not to be another subordinate navigation point in the quality range of Adler Modemärkte."

Together with the customer and an interdisciplinary team specializing in the fields of design, concept and technology, a sub-store solution was subsequently worked on. In addition to an attractive design with larger pictures, more information and a range of interactive service tools, it enables a shopping experience with a feel-good character.

"Implementing the Adler plus-size store for use on desktop and mobile end devices was just as important for us as the content and design requirements," stresses Judith Hock, Department Manager eCommerce and New Media at Adler. "Whether on a smartphone, tablet or PC, our customers should feel completely at home across all platforms in our new shopping environment."

The first expansion stage of the Adler plus-size shop has been available online since the start of March. From April, the complete implementation of the entire online range is following on in a responsive design for all end devices.
