Now live: Bartscher Warehouse – developed by Medienwerft and FIS

After the launch of the successful B2 online store, Medienwerft and FIS have now implemented a second store for the large B2B provider of commercial kitchens. Using Bartscher Warehouse, remaining stock, old inventory, returns, and B-goods are brought to B2B customers at heavily reduced prices.

Medienwerft was responsible for all development steps for the new store.

The adaptation of the interfaces to SAP ERP and the datahub were handled by FIS so that the Bartscher Warehouse Shop was completed entirely by the FIS Group, to which Medienwerft also belongs.

The certified SAP E-Commerce developers at Medienwerft integrated B2B-specific, individually developed functionalities like product comparison, immediate purchase, and inquiring about the VAT-ID with the Federal Office for taxes in the store. Replacement part ordering with integrated exploded-view drawing can be initiated directly from the Bartscher Warehouse shop. As a result, customers can purchase replacement parts for Bartscher kitchen appliances from the Warehouse shop. So far, ordering is only possible in Germany, but additional countries are in the planning stage.
