This means: No blocking by synchronous queries. Instead, loosely coupled, fault-tolerant processes – exactly what modern system landscapes need.
3. Agentic AI Integration

With the native integration of AI models, Emporix offers a framework for real process automation, for example in fraud management for returns (RMA), for automatic reactions to customer inquiries or as intelligent support in support – embedded in comprehensible processes and controllable via the Orchestration Engine.
4. Journey-Aware Storefront
Free, fast, integrable
The React/NextJS-based storefront is easily customizable and offers full integration into systems besides Emporix. Thanks to the open architecture, both synchronous communication with e.g. ERP systems (live price queries) and asynchronous reaction to backend processes are possible. No vendor lock-in, no dependencies – but maximum adaptability on the customer side.
Architecture without compromise – integration without friction
Emporix relies on a hybrid architecture approach in which synchronous and asynchronous integrations complement each other intelligently. This allows existing systems such as ERP, CRM, PIM, or even legacy components to be integrated in a modular fashion without encountering fragility or complexity.
This makes Emporix the ideal platform for companies that do not want to build a system environment from scratch, but rather want to continue using existing assets while combining growth, flexibility, and innovation.
Strangler Pattern & Partial Licensing – Custom-made Commerce
Another advantage: thanks to the Strangler pattern, Emporix can also be introduced incrementally.
If a functioning PIM already exists, this area can simply be excluded from the Commerce API configuration – including cost advantages through partial licensing.
