OPTIMISE COSTS IN EVERYDAY PRACTICE
Due to the legal requirements and the needs for optimal doctor-patient communication, patient education and documentation has become an expensive part of daily work. Previously, patient education documents had to be ordered in paper form and sent out in packs of 25 or 50.
This meant a longer lead time and costs for ordering and storing. In order to streamline this process, a digital solution was offered to help all those involved keep the current version of the documents available and gain more time for treatment and patient communication.
IMPORTANT CRITERION: SECURITY
In addition to the time-saving administration and processing of the information sheets made available via the webshop, various security criteria also had to be taken into account when implementing the project.
For reasons of copy security, data is entered on a patient-by-patient basis and only by clearly defined users. Since the data entered is often subject to data protection, it was also ensured that all data security requirements – from processing to secure archiving – are observed before, during and after the input process.
