AI agents & process optimization – Automated workflows through intelligent orchestration

Example: A wholesaler receives new product data sheets from suppliers as PDFs. The manual extraction of data and creation in the PIM takes approx. 15 minutes per product.

Solution: An AI agent automatically reads the PDF file (via our PDF Analyzer), extracts relevant information and passes it on to a second agent, which creates the product data in the PIM system – orchestrated via the Emporix Orchestration Engine.

Example: Complaints are made by email, hotline or form – the assignment, categorization and escalation is done manually by several employees.

Solution: An AI agent automatically recognizes the type of complaint (e.g. transport damage, incorrect delivery) based on text data, images or attachments and initiates appropriate follow-up processes (e.g. credit note, new delivery), coordinated by an agent structure.

Example: Orders with a high value of goods must be approved by several instances (purchasing, controlling, management). These approvals are often unnecessarily delayed.

Solution: AI agents take over the check according to defined logic (budget, stock, supplier), obtain specific approvals and escalate automatically in the event of delays – orchestrated by a business rule engine + agent network.

Example: Support or sales employees cannot find internal information (e.g. on product features or conditions) quickly enough because it is scattered across various tools or documents.

Solution: A chatbot based on a RAG model (Retrieval Augmented Generation) acts as an internal knowledge agent and answers context-related questions based on structured and unstructured company data.
