Agile and lean:The best method for your project success
A method alone does not make a successful project, and we also know that Scrum is not always the solution: with our many years of project experience, we have an overview. Together, we will find the agile methodology that best suits your team and your project. In doing so, we combine agile approaches with those of the lean principle: hand-in-hand communication, optimized processes, no waste of resources and time. In the spirit of our Lean Commerce-Approach.
We are happy to use existing Scrum and Kanban elements and create our own methodology based on transparency, review, adaptation and value maximization. The overriding goal is always to create a common understanding for the entire team. In doing so, we always operate within the conflicting priorities of time, costs and quality.
Our many years of experience in project management and our in-depth expertise in marketing enable us not only to complete your projects on time, but also to make them a real success. By mastering the magic triangle and always finding the right balance between time, cost and quality, we can exceed your expectations and deliver sustainable results.
Here are some of our proven strategies to ensure optimal alignment for your project:
Why it is important: Detailed and realistic planning is the foundation of every successful project. By defining clear goals and milestones, we can ensure that everyone involved has the same expectations.
Our approach: We rely on a precise project structure and use proven tools and methods to continuously monitor and adjust progress.
Why it is important: The correct allocation and utilization of resources is crucial to controlling costs and ensuring quality.
Our approach: We carefully analyze the available resources and optimize their use. In this way, we ensure that we get the best out of every budget without compromising quality.
Why it is important: Projects are dynamic and can change over time. The ability to react quickly to changes is crucial for the success of a project.
Our approach: We always maintain a flexible approach and are ready to adapt our strategies to overcome unforeseen challenges. This enables us to maintain a balance between time, cost and quality.
Why it is important: Open and transparent communication is crucial to keep all stakeholders on the same page and avoid misunderstandings.
Our approach: We promote a culture of collaboration and open dialog. Regular meetings and updates ensure that everyone involved is always informed and engaged.
How we work: The differences between classic and agile project development
Depending on the project phase, we are happy to work in regular cycles after requirements management, deliver executable interim results, scrutinize and adapt our approach if necessary – all with the aim of achieving maximum efficiency.
Are you unsure whether your current communication channels and methods are the right ones? Do you need support in training and motivating your teams? We are Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches, but we advise you on all methods with an open mind. So if you are looking for a partner who focuses on the result rather than the framework, then we should talk!
With Lean Commerce from MVP to efficient implementation
When launching the new B2C online store based on Emporix, we worked with the client to design the roadmap for a Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
In order to have an executable web store at an early stage, the features were prioritized according to four categories: Must-haves, Should-haves, Could-haves and Future Proposals.
Then dependencies were checked, the implementation effort of the individual features estimated and their go-live relevance evaluated.
This resulted in a project roadmap with concrete milestones, which were tracked using a traffic light system. The first features went live in record time and the roadmap was adhered to.

From small mowers to the BiG X forage harvester – the family-owned company Krone is a specialist in forage harvesting machinery. Krone customers and dealers can find out everything they need to know about Krone and its machines via a new online information system – designed and implemented by Medienwerft.
For a project like the mykrone.green B2B portal, a flexible project organization was the obvious choice. Together with the client and the associated IT service provider, we used agile methods to work in a mixed team in a self-organized yet close collaboration. In workshops and scribble sessions, we came up with initial drafts within a very short time.
The B2B platform was implemented as a complete Scrum projectin a manageable number of sprints.

As Ernsting’s family’s digital agency, we have been working together in an agile way since 2015:
In a project based on strenger Scrum methodology, the entire front end was relaunched within 11 months.
With the aim of offering strong added value for families, inspiration, customer proximity and useful services, new standards were set for Ernsting’s family in terms of design, inspiration and customer proximity.
Since then, we have continued to develop the store together: whether by optimizing microservices according to the Kanban methodology or by implementing accompanying online campaigns (from motion advertising to games). We work closely with a wide range of specialist departments.
