Interview – OMR Highlights 2024 & 20255
Len, Head of Online Marketing at Medienwerft, tells us what there is to see at OMR. He was at OMR last year and shares his impressions of the event in the following interview with Chiara, a marketing communications trainee:
“Hello Len. As Head of Online Marketing at Medienwerft, you work in a wide range of online marketing areas and know your way around pretty well. What were the biggest highlights of OMR 2024 for you?”
“AI-supported campaigns were the central topic: I found Google’s Performance Max (PMax) and the increasing automation through AI in Google Ads particularly exciting.”
“Were there any specific trends or tools that particularly surprised you in the field of SEO?”
“The use of synergies between SEO and SEA: The necessity of a holistic search strategy, especially with regard to the SERPs changed by SGE, was emphasized.”
“Which specific speaker or content do you remember particularly well and why?”
“I especially found the talk about how AI can increase efficiency interesting – how AI tools can help to further automate repetitive tasks in marketing automation (e.g. the creation of email sequences, lead scoring or reporting) and take the pressure off marketing teams.”
“And what will be your personal highlight of OMR 2025?”
“I am particularly looking forward to learning more about AI agents, marketing automation and orchestration engines as well as social commerce and B2B lead generation.”
