Together with a jury, website visitors selected the top 10. The winner, Jeany Gramstat, can look forward to a professional photo shoot in Cape Town, as well as an appearance in Ernsting’s family catalog.
On a landing page designed by Medienwerft, the soon-to-be models could upload two pictures and some information. All applicants were presented in a gallery, each in a sequence selected by a new random generator. A high-caliber jury consisting of model and moderator Jana Ina Zarella, booker and modeling agent Peyman Amin, fashion photographer Uwe Körner and influencer Liz Kaeber, as well as Marcello Concilio, Head of Corporate Communications at Ernsting’s family selected the top 30 from about 2600 candidates. By the way, this was almost twice as many women as last year!
The top 30 had to meet a photo challenge and present themselves with it on the landing page. On October 21 and 22, 2017, the top 10 as selected by the jury and website visitors met in the finale in Barcelona to see who would become Ernsting’s family face 2018 – and Jeany Gramstad was selected.
Like last year, Medienwerft handled everything, not just the development and programming of the landing page, on a PHP basis in TYPO3.
