Integrated data interface: IDS-Connect. A standard that defines a seamless connection between software for trade businesses and online stores. Most recently, we implemented the IDS interface for our long-term customer, the CMS Group.
From initial implementation to support and continuous development, we have implemented another successful project with the CMS Group.
What is IDS?
IDS – integrated data interface – links the craftsmen’s software with the individual online stores. This makes the exchange between retailers and trade businesses seamless and efficient.

The FIS Group has been using IDS successfully for years with the FIS/eSales store solution. At Medienwerft, we have now developed a platform-independent solution that can make any e-commerce system IDS-compatible.
Low implementation effort:
Our RESTful API solution makes it possible to use the IDS standard, which is originally based on XML, with modern JSON payloads as well. This makes implementation simple and flexible, regardless of your system’s preferred formats.
Premiere at the CMS Group:
We used IDS Connect on an SAP Commerce platform for the first time at CMS Group. Further rollouts in other systems are already in preparation, regardless of whether it is an SAP system or another store system – such as Emporix.
