Dear FIS, on your 30th birthday we wish you all the best and always a hand’s breadth of water under your keel … oh no, always a handful of snow on the peaks – or whatever you wish for in Franconia. In any case, we northerners are very happy to be part of the FIS group and celebrate with you in our thoughts!

APROPOS: WIE BIDDE? SMALL PLATT DICTIONARY
So that there are no language barriers between us in the next 30 years, here are the most important peculiarities of Hamburg Platt.
Don’t be surprised if you are greeted with Moin. Instead of “hello”, real Hamburgers say “moin” at any time of day – even in the evening. For us, having a chat after a project meeting is the best way to keep work and life in balance – especially over a nice pot of coffee and a French roll. But before you get all sleepy … in Hamburg we say goodbye!
