The story of Hybris began in 1997 with an e-shop solution. When SAP acquired the company, Hybris was already a rapidly growing and leading provider of e-commerce technologies. From 2013 onwards, SAP Hybris was the name of SAP’s Customer Experience Platform, which brought together customer data, experience and operational data, and the power of intelligent technologies. At the heart of SAP Hybris was SAP Hybris Commerce, an omnichannel platform for personalised and comprehensive customer experiences.
In 2019, SAP Hybris and SAP Hybris Commerce were replaced by SAP C/4HANA and SAP Commerce Cloud respectively.
