Paint wholesale: Medienwerft develops b2b shop for CMS

One shop for 13 retailers: Medienwerft developed a B2B online shop for paint wholesaler CMS which was individually adapted for the 13 retailers in the network. A shop was designed and implemented based on SAP Commerce.

The CMS Group supports its network of retailers across Germany with numerous services. This includes the B2B shop that the wholesaler provided to address its own customers: painters and flooring installers in Germany.

The B2B shop was developed together with the customer in numerous workshops and strategy meetings before being implemented. In the process, the existing webshop underwent a relaunch.

The CMS Group is the network of retailers for the DAW across Germany. Comprised of 13 retailers, the network covers the map of Germany with about 170 locations. The retailers for the CMS Group not only carry paint, but also a broad and varied range of products for the primary target groups of painters and flooring installers. CMS Dienstleistungs-GmbH itself acts a a service provider for specialist retailers. All administrative tasks are handled by CMS Dienstleistungs-GmbH. As the partner of 14 paint wholesalers at over 170 locations in Germany, CMS Dienstleistungs-GmbH has developed a B2B platform with us, which combines brick-and-mortar with online business using the greatest possible number of functionalities and services. At the focus of the development was a system landscape based on the SAP Commerce Cloud, which ensured centralised networking for all participants.
