Medienwerft expands the Atelier GS range
With a comprehensive update to the website www.ateliergs.de, the specialist for exclusive and elegant women’s fashion (AtelierGS) is expanding its range to include offers for men. The e-commerce presence revised by Medienwerft is turning to one of the most demanding audiences in the Web: the 50+ generation.
“For a company that is traditionally known as a specialist women’s fashion retailer, it is a big step for it to enter the online business world as an exclusive men’s fashion retailer as well”,
commented Medienwerft manager Oliver Helms regarding the challenge recognised with the AtelierGS line extension.
“It is a task that we were able to consider in terms of both its content and its design.”
Oliver Helms summarised the comprehensive revision thus:
“With the start of the season in July, both the basic structure of the online shop and the total offer were optimised.”
As part of the content considerations, the AtelierGS fashion team was integrated – it also offers a look behind the scenes of AtelierGS. Moreover, the latest His and Hers fashions are now included in the trends. The online shop with “EHI-approved Online Shop” certification (for security during online purchasing) has an international presence, being recognised in nine countries and available in twelve languages at the time of writing.
ABOUT ATELIER GS
The company is one of the longest-standing mail order companies for quality women’s fashion in Germany. The Wirth brothers went into the lingerie wholesale trade in 1926. Shortly afterwards the company underwent extension to include the mail order company, which saw continuous expansion event after the Second World War. With the founding of the “Atelier Goldner Schnitt” in the 1970s, the company positioned itself as a specialist for exclusive and elegant women’s fashion; since then it has expanded to Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, Finland and France. With the jump in online trading, AtelierGS has expanded its mail order business since 2006, and realising its pan-European marketing concept with the newly established e-commerce offer.
