WHAT IS THE MASTERCLASS ABOUT?
Many companies are experimenting with AI – but real efficiency improvements often fail to materialize. Why? Because most commerce architectures are simply not made for it. In this masterclass, Medienwerft and Emporix show how AI can only be effective with a modern, modular architecture – and how entire processes can be automated with so-called AI agents.
Using the example of a complex B2B returns process with suspected fraud, you will learn:
- How an AI agent validates returns in real time and recognizes fraud attempts
- How communication between customer service, sales and systems is automatically orchestrated (e.g. via Slack)
- And how this enables companies to reduce costs, increase customer satisfaction and drastically shorten time-to-resolution
This session is a practical demonstration of what is possible when commerce is no longer thought of as a system, but as an orchestrable process.

K5 Commerce Award 2025 – Medienwerft in the final
Medienwerft has been nominated twice for this year’s K5 Commerce Award 2025. In the public voting, the commerce community was able to vote for Medienwerft in the categories “Innovative Tech Tools” and “Customer Experience”. As we made it into the top 5 in both categories and have therefore made it to the final, we will be at the K5 to find out who takes home the award. A jury of 15 experts will announce the winners of the 10 categories live at K5 on the first day of the trade fair, June 24.
