Almased and Medienwerft have been partners since 2013. We have been working together to improve the company’s international online communications capabilities. We are also placing an additional focus on communication through social media, which is assuming ever greater importance.
Put concisely, our instructed task was to update online communication capabilities in response to changes in the demands and expectations of target groups. This meant reviewing Almased’s thoroughly successful online activities in light of its international orientation, which is becoming increasingly pronounced, along with the ever more popular use of mobile terminal devices. The icing on the cake, as far as this task was concerned, was the social networks, Facebook foremost among them.

The requirements for an update in online communication capabilities in light of the increasing number of mobile users and the international status of the brand led almost logically to the use of a responsive framework. Almased’s websites for the German, Swiss, Austrian, and English markets were therefore converted to responsive design. This affords more benefits for the brand and its users in terms of usability, ergonomics, and search engine optimization. Furthermore, a stable and scalable website infrastructure was created that, in particular, vastly simplifies content management and the launch of further satellite stores in other countries. And all this was done in a genuinely attractive, new, and brand-appropriate design.
