With the launch of its new online shop, our client eyes + more is the first optician with its own extensive branch network that sells eyewear both in brick-and-mortar stores as well as online. Furthermore, it does so with the claims of a fashion company. A true omnichannel player.
We were given the task of implementing an e-commerce shop as the central component of the eyes + more omnichannel strategy that is closely linked both stylistically and in terms of processes with the eyes + more stores and that offers a comprehensive shopping experience. The range of tasks therefore lay at the focus of our specialised competencies: brand experience, design, usability and technical implementation. The eyes + more webshop was implemented based on SAP Hybris Accelerator 5.5, is available in several countries and languages, and was implemented responsively, and is therefore device-independent.

What was especially important was the development of an innovative, emotional design that transports the brand. Here, an overall approach has been pursued – from the perspective of brand building – that took into account both the features of stationary stores as well as the suitable look of online stores.
The multilingual eyes + more web shops for Germany, Austria and the Netherlands are fully responsive, which means that all areas of the SAP Hybris shop can be used optimally on smartphones, tablets and desktop computers. In addition, all content elements are implemented as reusable components and can be maintained and edited in the SAP Hybris WCMS. Another special feature is the integration of online and offline – customers can order eyeglass frames to be sent to the nearest store with no commitment to purchase them. Finally, great design highlights such as different parallax effects and an innovative 3D view of the glasses round off the modern webshop.
